Owner & Operator

Matthias Bouter is the owner and operator of Maritime Haven Properties. He is actively involved in both the day-to-day management of rental properties and the acquisition and renovation of new projects. With a focus on long-term quality, he takes a hands-on approach to ensuring that properties are well-maintained and that renovations are done properly—not just cosmetically, but with lasting value in mind. His goal is simple: to provide clean, reliable housing for tenants and to create solid, well-executed real estate investments. He has several years of experience in real estate investing, both in owning long term rentals and flipping properties, and enjoys the challenge of finding a good deal and the process of making it a place to be proud of.

Van Sturgeon

Advisor & Mentor

Van Sturgeon is an experienced entrepreneur of over 30 years, who has successfully created a number of businesses in the real estate industry that cover areas of land acquisition, development, management, construction and renovation. Van personally owns over 1,200 properties across North America. Van is passionate in helping real estate investors in all facets of their development, whether it is purchasing their first real estate investment, or a seasoned multifamily investor who is struggling through a renovation/value add project. His passion lies in empowering others to achieve success in real estate through practical guidance and expert insight. Van has been featured as a guest on over 100 leading podcasts, and has written articles which have been featured in a number of publications.
